Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, located in southwestern Uganda, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its exceptional biodiversity and, notably, its population of endangered mountain gorillas. The park spans approximately 331 square kilometers, characterized by dense, ancient montane and lowland forests, earning its “Impenetrable” moniker.
