Ours was a 8 day trip covering Amboselli, Navaisha, Nakaru and Masai Mara. The planning and execution by Meektrails was flawless. All hotel accommodations were excellent.Our tour planner Charles was in constant communication with us from day one and provided all the guidance and bookings. Our tour guide and driver - Peter was simply amazing. Very friendly, knowledgeable and a skilled driver in the rough terrain. He made sure we saw the big 5 to our headts content including the elusive leopard.Our whole experience was top notch. Would highly recommend the professional planning and execution of Meektrails.

There were 5 of us on a 10-day MeekTrails safari. We had a FABULOUS time!!!! We all felt that the cost was very reasonable for the experience we received.To start with, communicating with Peris Watiri, our meektrails coordinator, was very easy. Peris always answered very quickly and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful when answering our questions.The lodges and hotels we stayed at were all very nice and the hotel staff were helpful friendly and quick to anticipate our needs. The restaurants and curio shops we stopped at while driving between locations offered a nice variety of souvenirs to choose from. Don't be afraid to haggle!Saving the best for last.... what else is there to say about our Driver/Guide/Swahili teacher, Gideon Waiharo. We spent 10 days with Gideon and every day was an experience we will remember. He is a very jovial person and so easy to get along with. Gideon has 16 years of experience as a safari guide and he brings it every day you are with him. All of the adults in our group either had Forester careers or grew up on a Ranch and know how to drive on rough dirt roads. We all could tell that Gideon was a driver "par excellence" when it came to navigating the safari roads and we APPRECIATED his skill every day. Gideon's complete knowledge of the wildlife (names and where to find them) was pivotal to the wonderful experience we had. Gideon is extremely good at positioning the Land Cruiser to get the best views/pictures of the wildlife (sun angle, peaking through dense foliage, etc..). One last pleasant memory is the condition Gideon kept the Land Cruiser. Every day, after coming back for the evening he would make sure the Cruiser was washed and cleaned both inside and out and ready for the next day's adventure.We can't say enough good things about our experience with MeekTrails. We would recommend them to anyone (and we already have)!Tom, Megan, Beatrice, Aaron, and Isaac.

The experience was amazing. Especially the backup crew who gave us advice before the trip, and during, but a special thanks goes out to our driver Joseph who made our 10 day trip a pleasure! Super informative, super calm, super patient, he and the team always had the right answers and places to go. Everything was organized perfectly. I would recommend a trip to anyone, and to please ask for Joseph, you can't go wrong.!

Just coming back from a wonderful 10 day Safari: Amboseli, Ol Pajeta, Samburu, and Masai Mara. All I can say is WOW, we had the best tour guide/driver Gideon. He made sure we saw everything and more! Explained about the animals and birds, how they behave and live. He made it possible for us to see the big 5, the ugly 5 and we were able to see cheetahs eating the hunt of the day, leopards on trees and walking down the road, he new where to look and how to have the angle for the best pictures. Cannot leave without saying Waitiri Peris had the patient to take me thru the organizing process for more than a year, and made it happen. I am thankful to Meektrails for making this one of the most amazing experiences for my family. I truly recommend Meektrails for whomever is thinking on doing a Safari. They make it happen in the most kind and enjoyable way.
