My partner and I spent five unforgettable days on safari in Kenya, and throughout the entire experience we were looked after by our incredible Meektrails guide, Julius. From the very start of our journey in Nairobi, we were warmly welcomed by the Meektrails team and personally greeted by the owner, who reassured us that we would be in the care of one of his very best driver-guides, and he was absolutely right.Julius made us feel comfortable, safe, and genuinely welcomed in his country. He shared an incredible amount of knowledge with us, covering everything from the history of Kenya to the finer details of the wildlife we were searching for on safari. His passion and experience truly elevated the entire trip.During our safari, we visited Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, and the Maasai Mara National Park. With Meektrails guiding us, every location was an outstanding experience and perfectly organised from start to finish. We went on a 6-day safari trip with Meektrails, from Amboseli to Nakuru to Masai Mara. While a long drive (which we did ourselves with the itinerary) we had an amazing time. Meektrails organized everything perfectly; from the quick responses and creating of the itinerary before the trip, to the accommodations. Everything was set and we just had to get in the 4x4 and get to experience Kenya. Our guide was very knowledgeable and managed to help us find everything, including leopard from 1 meter distance! Not only that, but he also managed to drive us everywhere in a nice and safe manner.If you go on safari in Kenya, look no further than Meektrails!

We did a 5 day tour of Amboseli, Naivasha, Nakuru and Masai Mara with Habil and he was THE BEST. Planning was very easy with coordinator Thomas and he was able to include everything we hoped to do in a short time. Habil was so friendly from the moment we went, as well as extremely professional and hard working. We had some very long driving days and he handled it with ease and always made sure we were comfortable. During game drives he worked hard to make sure we saw everything! We had such a great time. All of the lodges we were booked into were excellent as well. If you’re going, ask for Habil!

We had a 7 day safari with Meektrails in Kenya, visiting 3 different game areas including Masai Mara. The guide - Habil - was fantastic - friendly, knowledgable, able to position the vehicle so we had great close encounters with the animals. He adapted to a change of plans and went out of his way to make sure we weren't just dropped at the airport on the last travel day, fitting in a trip to Nairobi museum and a Kenyan dinner. The accomodation was amazing (we stayed at Sopa lodges) which were all different from each other with beautiful scenery. The picnic lunches we had whilst on the game drives were huge and very tasty. We would recommend Meektrails and if you're lucky enough to have Habil you won't be disappointed. Thank you Meektrails for our trip.

Our recent 8 day safari with Meektrails exceeded all expectations. Our daughter has travelled widely in Africa for work and pleasure, and the company was recommended to us through one of her contacts in Kenya. All our interactions with Pauline at Meektrails, from arranging the bespoke itinerary to confirming payments, were polite, friendly and efficient. At the start of the trip we were met from our hotel in central Nairobi by Pauline, Phylis (one of the company directors) and Anthony who would be our driver/guide. Our vehicle was a brand new, fully equipped Land Cruiser that included fridge box and charging sockets for cameras, phones etc. The tour encompassed: Amboseli National Park, Lake Naivasha, Nakuru National Park and Masai Mara National Reserve, with accommodation mainly in tented camps but also including a bush lodge and a hotel; all were an excellent standard. Activities included four game drives, a boat trip looking at the wildlife on Lake Naivasha, a walking safari, a cycle trip to the Hell’s Gate gorge and climbing Mount Longonot. The role of the expert guide goes beyond simply spotting animals and is crucial for a successful safari. Anthony was brilliant; at all times friendly and courteous. His love of Kenya, its wildlife and history was infectious and his knowledge encyclopaedic, always explaining the wildlife comprehensively in the context of the landscape and its geology. In addition, being an experienced and highly skilled driver, both on- and off-road, Anthony ensured that we invariably arrived safely in the right position to see and photograph the animals, often before anyone else.
