I have been dreaming about this since I was a child — sitting in front of the TV watching African wildlife documentaries and thinking, “Maybe one day…” 🧡 Now that dream has finally come true.We spent 5 nights and 6 unforgettable days exploring the most beautiful national parks in Kenya. We saw everything we had only ever seen on TV before… and so much more.The biggest jackpot of this trip was our safari company — Meektrails Safaris 🙌 — and especially our guide, Giddy. He is incredibly knowledgeable, warm, funny, and such a skilled driver. We already miss him! 🧡Every morning we woke up before sunrise to catch the animals at their most active. It was worth every lost hour of sleep. Some days we spent up to 12 hours in the car, but in return we experienced the real Kenya — its landscapes, streets, daily life, and stories beyond the parks. That perspective made the journey even more meaningful.The entire 6-day itinerary was very well and thoughtfully planned. Giddy made sure we saw all the animals we hoped for — including the Big Five. He was exceptionally skilled at positioning the vehicle perfectly so we always had the best possible view and photo angles. His knowledge about wildlife was impressive, and he also shared so much about Kenya’s history and culture. On top of that, he is a wonderful communicator with a great sense of humor — we laughed a lot!We were also very pleasantly surprised by the beautiful lodges. Each one was set in stunning natural surroundings, tastefully designed, and very comfortable. The food was excellent everywhere — we especially appreciated the fresh and healthy options at every meal.This safari exceeded all our expectations. We cannot give a good enough review to Meektrails for such and amazing experience! They welcome us with gifts, and the team came to meet us personally on the first day.Everything was perfectly planned and executed and all our needs were taken care of to the fullest and our tour guide, Joseph made sure we were always comfortable. To be honest, we felt uneasy before we booked it, as it was our first time travelling alone but our tour guide really made us feel so safe and at ease throughout. He would always keep a watch out for us and make sure we are safe when in the parks and even when outside of the car for stops on the journey.Joseph treated us like his own family from the start, always welcoming us on every single day and making sure all our requests were taken care of. Whether it was a toilet break, or to take pictures somewhere, or even to stop at different souvenir shops, he would always accommodate our requests promptly! He was so knowledgeable about everything in the Kenyan nature, from the animals to the plants to even mountains and rivers and how they were formed. He would always encourage curiosity and taught us so much and so many interesting things about animals we didn't know. He was very understanding and sweet and he was honestly the best guide we could have asked for. His driving skills were top notch always very calm, and he always delivered on the safaris with 20 years of experience, finding even the rare animals like rhino's and cheetahs and making sure we have a complete and exciting experience.Regarding the safari itself, it was very well planned and allowed us to explore the diversity of Kenya Landscape and animals. We did a 6 day safari starting with amboselli, then lake naivasha and lake nakuru, and then masai mara. This safari did prove to be quite fast paced and most of the days included drives, so I would recommend reducing the number of locations or increasing the number of days. All the lodges they booked for us were very comfortable to stay in, with friendly staff and amazing food.Amboselli had the beautiful landscape of Mount kilimanjaro and very diverse wildlife in the park including lions, elephants, buffalos, zebras, impalas etc. Lake naivasha was our favorite and boat safari and walking safari there as they were truly surreal, seeing hippos up close on the boat and walking very close to animals like zebras, wildebeest, and even girrafes really made us feel like we are in the wild. Masai Mara was the most excting experience with frequently seeing lions and cheetahs as if they were just any other animal, and crocodiles on the mara river.This was actually my wife and I's honeymoon, and Meektrails really made it feel special. A special thank you to them! They arranged special arrangements with all the hotels where our rooms had welcoming decorations and even some treats. And they even upgraded us for FREE from our original booked camp to a luxury one in Masai Mara for the occasion! This really made our honeymoon feel extra special and was so very kind of Meektrails and the Zebra camps in Masai Mara.I highly highly recommend Meektrails as the guide if you are travelling to Kenya. You will not regret choosing them and they will truly give you an unforgettable experience! Kenya is a beautiful country and their Safari showed us the beauty of the country and made us explore so many diverse landscapes and wildlife.I really don't think my words justify how great the experience was, but thank you Meektrails! My partner and I spent five unforgettable days on safari in Kenya, and throughout the entire experience we were looked after by our incredible Meektrails guide, Julius. From the very start of our journey in Nairobi, we were warmly welcomed by the Meektrails team and personally greeted by the owner, who reassured us that we would be in the care of one of his very best driver-guides, and he was absolutely right.Julius made us feel comfortable, safe, and genuinely welcomed in his country. He shared an incredible amount of knowledge with us, covering everything from the history of Kenya to the finer details of the wildlife we were searching for on safari. His passion and experience truly elevated the entire trip.During our safari, we visited Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, and the Maasai Mara National Park. With Meektrails guiding us, every location was an outstanding experience and perfectly organised from start to finish. We went on a 6-day safari trip with Meektrails, from Amboseli to Nakuru to Masai Mara. While a long drive (which we did ourselves with the itinerary) we had an amazing time. Meektrails organized everything perfectly; from the quick responses and creating of the itinerary before the trip, to the accommodations. Everything was set and we just had to get in the 4x4 and get to experience Kenya. Our guide was very knowledgeable and managed to help us find everything, including leopard from 1 meter distance! Not only that, but he also managed to drive us everywhere in a nice and safe manner.If you go on safari in Kenya, look no further than Meektrails!

We did a 5 day tour of Amboseli, Naivasha, Nakuru and Masai Mara with Habil and he was THE BEST. Planning was very easy with coordinator Thomas and he was able to include everything we hoped to do in a short time. Habil was so friendly from the moment we went, as well as extremely professional and hard working. We had some very long driving days and he handled it with ease and always made sure we were comfortable. During game drives he worked hard to make sure we saw everything! We had such a great time. All of the lodges we were booked into were excellent as well. If you’re going, ask for Habil!
