Meektrails gave us the most wonderful safari experience. Victor planned a perfect 6-day safari with overnight stays in two beautiful tented camps (Amboseli and Masai Mara) and one lodge (Lake Nakuru). From Amboseli, we especially remember herds of elephants, a wealth of beautiful birds, and sunset over Mount Kilimanjaro. From Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru, we especially remember hippopotamuses, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, rhinos, flamingos, and pelicans. From Masai Mara, we especially remember the enormous herds of wildebeest and zebras, and last but not least, the big cats: many lions, a cheetah, and a leopard. The landscape in the parks was very varied – from savanna in Amboseli and Masai Mara to lake and hilly forest areas in Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha, so we were glad we chose to visit them all. Our guide Mwas was incredibly skilled and very experienced – a true master when it came to positioning the car exactly where the animals were heading. He knows the parks inside and out and managed to show us both The Big Five and The Ugly Five. He knew everything about all the animals, birds, and plants we saw along our way through the four national parks. And on the long stretches between the parks, he told us about Kenya's history and life in Kenya today. We experienced so much and learned so much and are so incredibly grateful that Mwas became our guide. Thank you to Meektrails for a wonderful experience that will always live in our hearts and memory. There's only one thing we would do differently if we could choose again. We went to visit a Maasai village. The village chief told us how the Maasai treat women and young people. It made us regret that we had gone there.

We have just finished a week safari with Meektrail Safaris and it was excellent in every way. We visited Amboselli, Lake. Navaisha, Lake Nkuru and Masai Mara. From planning, to pick up, to drop off we were so well looked after. James, our wonderful driver, was patient, kind, knowledgable and THE BEST driver imaginable in the sometimes difficult terrain of the Parks, as well as the drives between the Parks. We saw the Big Five and so much more! Could not have imagined a better trip! We will remember it forever! Thank you James, Charles and Meektrail Safaris!

We went on a private 8 day safari. Peris contacted with us and booked the hotels and arranged the itinerary for us. She was very good at responding to any queries we had and personalising the journey. Our tour guide Jason was incredible, very knowledgeable about wildlife, and has a personal hobby of bird watching. He knew most of the bird species we saw and spotted them even when they were hidden or incredibly far away. These were pleasant surprises and added to the experience of the safari. He helped us find all the animals people come to watch in Kenya, big and small. He knew the way around Masai Mara like it was his home, and knew the habits and behaviour of the animals very well, too. What we loved most about Jason, was that he was very respectful of wildlife, he was honourable, kind, and trustworthy. We felt like he was a very close friend by the end of the trip and really missed him after we said our goodbyes.

We had an amazing vacation and kenyan safari with meektrails. Friendly knowledgable drivers, great vehicles , lovely places to stay (loved the ARK in particular). They did a rescue on my luggage for me also. Lots to love and i recommend them to you. Very responsive on our requests in the planning stage also. I was a fan of the Glamping at 2 of our stops. Mosquitos ended up as a non issue at our stops because of the quality of accommodations :).

My wife and I arranged a 13 day customized safari which included 5 safari trips and a 3 day stay at the Diani Beach Resort. Esther was our contact and arranged all of the accommodations as well as the plane flights to and from Diani. Our guide was Sam, who had the sharp eyes to see animals hidden by camouflage in the grasses. He alao was a wealth of information about Kenya and the animals we were seeing. Sam went out of his way to ensure we got the most out of our trip. Immediately upon arrival at the Nairobi airport, we were met by Esther and Sam and transferred to a Toyota Landcruiser for our travels. Our first stop was Amboseli National Park, we then traveled to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Samburu National Reserve, Lake Naivashu, and Masai Mara. We then traveled to the Nairobi International Airport for our extension to the Diani Beach Resort. The animals were incredible! Often times elephants, lions, zebras, wildebeest, and giraffes came within a few feet of our vehicle. The great migration was in progress at Masai Mara, and did not disappoint. Herds of intermingled zebras and wildebeest were seen frequently. Also the cruelty of nature with predators and scavengers feasting on the fallen. The accommodations were upscale to luxurious. The Sopa lodges, where available, were outstanding. Definitely ask for these. And where Sopa was unavailable, the arranged accommodations and staffing were equally nice. The staffing was very friendly and helpful at all locations. Meals were buffet style, except for box lunches while traveling between parks and the picnic box lunches while at Masai Mari. The buffets had selections with an international and Kenyan representation. Deserts were plentiful and yummy.

We do the 6 day safari, from the first moment we land on Kenya our host Peris was already waiting for us! Our guide Mugweru had a really nice car, always clean with water bottles. Also Mugweru was an incredible driver/guide, he knows everything about animals, knows how to respect them, how to be patient and also is the friendliest person in the world! We really has a blast with him. Sometimes the parks were really full but we always got the opportunity to see the animals and enjoy them. From the “Party Bus” being always near to the animals and having lucky moments. Recommended 100%. Asante sana
