The planners at Meektrails made the entire process very easy, catered to our every need and helped to explain exactly how everything would work. This took all the stress out of the planning for us. Our guide Anthony was excellent and made sure we enjoyed every minute of the safari. He was very knowledgeable and experienced and ensured we saw all the wildlife we wanted to on this trip. My family and I had such a great experience with the Meek Trails team on our trip to Kilaguni. They surprised us with a vehicle upgrade, which was awesome. Our driver (Lucas) was fantastic, super knowledgeable, great with my boys, and took us on early morning and evening game drives that were a real highlight. Thanks to him and the team, we visited Shamba la Shetani, the rhino sanctuary, saw tons of wildlife (including a leopard!), and heard spooky hyenas at night. Kilaguni was such a good recommendation that we ended up extending our stay. Overall, everything was smooth, thoughtful, and just really well done. Would definitely recommend! This was a bucket list trip for me. Traveled with my 15 year old son. We did a custom tour from Nairobi to Masai Mara via Nakuru/Hell's gate and then Amboseli with a stop in Navaisha.First Charles helped us organize an amazing trip. Exactly what we were hoping for. Including extras like the train down to the coast from Amboseli, and the flight back from Diani to Nairobi, as well as an extra day in Nairobi at the end. He was responsive and gave us a lot of extra information and reminders up to our arrival. He welcomed us on our first day and introduced us to our guide George.Now George. Oh George. Did we ever lucked out with our guide George. If I could give him more than 5 stars I would. He was beyond excellent. Not only professional, hard working, knowledgable and made every effort for our safari to be a success, looking for all sorts of animals. But he did it all with grace and generosity. In addition he acted as a patient father figure to my 15 year old son. And for that alone I will be forever grateful to him, as he made MY holiday so much better. I cannot describe how great he was with my son. Answered all sorts of questions, even the ones coming out of left field, he managed his expectation. Prepared him for the long driving days. Gave him breaks and options when he saw that he was reaching his limits. Honestly he was incredible. He made the safari so interesting for us. He knew so much about animals, he was never bothered by endless questions. He would be an amazing guide for any any teen!

It was a super nice experience during our 7 days safari. All the Places we were staying were at the highest level. Also the food was incredible. Id like to admit that our good experience is also connected to our guide Joseph. He was very helpful and professional during the whole trip. Joseph was very engaged and his knowledge about the animals and nature is incredible.
