Meeks trails delivered in every aspect!! Travelling as a family of 3 we enjoyed 7 days in Kenya and a further 5 in Tanzania. Starting from the initial booking process I had the pleasure of dealing with GADSON on how and when I could navigate a safari covering the best of the parks between Kenya and Tanzania. He made the process easier than I expected and was able to give me a very fair price for an exceptional itinerary. Once in Kenya we met with the team in Nairobi and were introduced to our Guide for the foreseeable whilst in Kenya. Our guide ANTHONY immediately made an impression making us feel welcome and taking us on to our 1st national park. My son (9 years) who can be shy at times was able be himself around Anthony almost immediately because of how kind and welcoming he was, laughing and joking etc. personality aside, Anthony’s knowledge and expertise were 2nd to none, he gave us so much insight into Kenyan culture on our journeys through his country, and when it came to being amongst the wildlife he was able to answer our questions and tell us everything we needed to know about any species. Even down to the vegetation he knew EVERYTHING! no exaggeration!! On top of all Anthony was able to deliver some spectacular moments for us with the animals including all the big 5 some other rare species all due to his understanding of the parks and also his popularity around them. We chose a mid range safari, and just to mention the accommodation for each stay were at a very good standard some of which exceeded my expectations. And lastly the cross over to Tanzania which Meeks trails organised, we were completely blind on this part as we didn’t know anything about the company in Tanzania, however Meeks did and the guys on that end were just as brilliant as in Kenya. 10/10 Meeks trails crafted us a trip of a lifetime. We made memories as a family in Africa that we will never forget.

We had an incredible 5-day / 4-night private safari with Meektrails Safaris, visiting the Maasai Mara National Reserve, Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Naivasha (including a boat trip and walking safari), and Amboseli National Park. We chose Meektrails for a 6-days tailor-made private safari (Masai Mara–Nakuru–Naivasha) for our family of five. We’re all absolutely delighted we chose this agency, which enabled us to enjoy a fabulous week. I’d recommend them 200% !!! - Before the trip: my contact person, Peris, was incredibly responsive, patient with my endless emails, and really helped me in the fine-tuning of our itinerary, and even more in the research and selection of lodges fitting what we were looking for…while staying in our budget. Thank you for everything, Peris! - The welcome from the whole team at the airport was really great and immediately put a smile on the whole family’s faces! - The safari was organised flawlessly. The car (a Toyota LandCruiser) was reliable, very spacious and comfortable. - Our driver-guide, Georges, was also brilliant! He was punctual, attentive and did all the efforts to ensure our days were packed from park opening to closing time, particularly in the Masai Mara! We saw a huge number of animals, particularly big cats, far exceeding our expectations. Georges has a keen eye for spotting them and always manages to position the car in just the right spot for photos (especially when there are other cars at the same spot). He also provides excellent explanations. - The accommodation (Mtito Camp, Nakuru Sopa Lodge and Naivasha Sopa Resort) exceeded our expectations. - When I consider the services provided and the accommodation we were given, I think the value for money is absolutely unbeatable. All five of us were delighted with the week and really pleased with our choice of agency!
